Participate

We have several research projects investigating human behaviour. Some of our current projects include:

How the consequences of our actions shape the choices we make

How humans use feedback to learn to make decisions in complex, rapidly changing environments

If you’re interested in participating in one of our research studies, see this page for further information.

Volunteer

Students enrolled in Psychology at The University of Auckland can volunteer to assist with daily lab tasks and running research studies. Tasks may include:

Assisting with weighing and feeding animal subjects

Testing and cleaning lab equipment

Running experimental sessions with pigeons or humans

Coding or analysing data

Assisting with literature reviews and ethics applications

… and more! We have lots of opportunities for students interested in gaining research experience in our lab.

Volunteers commit to one full semester in our lab, and undergo mandatory ethics training.

To volunteer with us, submit an expression of interest here.
